Dear HCL community,
Season 4 is officially underway
The Hand Cricket League formally announces Season 4. Following the withdrawal of Cape Chargers, the competition continues with five active team desks and further registrations still to be completed.
Every active team opened the auction with 500K HCL Coins. Current purse balances and registered players are provisional until the auction is formally closed.
Five active team desks
Season 4 continues with MSK, TVK, NN, TRS and SP. NN now competes under the full name Sliced Sambar, while SP now competes under the full name Jolly Brothers.
The confirmed Season 4 captains are Thishyaketh, Sarvesh, Naveen, P. Harish and Sachin. Players registered to the withdrawn CC desk return to the available auction pool.
Ranking-based player values
Season 4 set values are determined by the official HCL batting rankings. Ranks 1–3 carry 250K values, ranks 4–5 carry 200K, ranks 6–10 carry 150K, ranks 11–15 carry 100K, and all remaining ranked players carry 50K.
The live auction register calculates these bands from the current ranking order so that changes are applied consistently.
A longer Season 4 calendar
Season 4 opens with three non-ranking warm-up matches. Because the competition now has an odd number of teams, MSK plays the additional preparation fixture. Warm-up results do not award points.
The league stage contains 40 matches across four complete five-team round-robin cycles. Every pair meets four times and every team plays 16 league matches before the top four enter the Eliminator playoffs.
Halfway ledger, not final squads
The published auction page records only the names, values and purse balances present in the submitted management sheets. Vacant positions remain open and no incomplete team list should be treated as its final Season 4 squad.
A final auction report will replace this provisional notice after all remaining registrations and purchases are confirmed.
Season 4 is open with five active teams, the auction is halfway complete, and the official 40-match league calendar is published.
